Along the coast and across the suburbs
Along the coast and the harbour you will find beach cleanups, bushcare groups and surf clubs. Inland there is food relief, tutoring, aged care visits and community kitchens.
Plenty of choice, year round
The same cause is often run by a dozen different organisations, so there is usually something on whatever month it is.
Pick one you can get to
Sydney is big. The group you can reliably reach matters more than the one that sounds biggest.
New to this?
Most of these ask for no experience. Pick something close to home and start there. Your hours are tracked as you go, so you have a record of what you have done.
